Denise's daughter Sami spilled it all on TikTok.
“1 year ago today: trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school, etc…” she wrote on a video.
“Now: finally moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school :).”
Soon after, Charlie Sheen confirmed what his daughter said.
“Sam’s amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally,” Charlie Sheen told Us Weekly through his rep. “We’re having a ball. GED here we come!”
But Denise is not thrilled by the situation and her daughter’s allegations.
“Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting. She’s a mom and a parent and there are rules. She didn’t want to follow the rules,” a source told the outlet. “Charlie didn’t support implementing Denise’s rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad. Denise loves her daughter very much.”
Back when Denise was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans saw how Denise co-parented her children with Charlie.
“I’m struggling with parenting right now with my teenagers. Sami, I think sometimes she does things hoping to get a reaction out of me. It’s not easy,” she said in a 2020 episode. “A lot of people have an impression of me being wild and crazy, but Charlie was sober when we got married, so we were not this swinging couple that people might assume. We weren’t.”
She added that their relationship deteriorated when she was pregnant with their second child.
“It was a very dark time, very toxic, and I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant with her. I did whatever I could to hide Charlie’s behavior,” she said. “How do you tell kids what’s really going on? I would say, ‘Dad had to go to work, but he loves you so much. He wants to be there for you girls.’”
Now it seems the two have patched things up.
"Happy Birthday my beautiful Sami. I love you so much. Privately many more words to share with you. I love you unconditionally and I am very blessed & grateful to be your mom. And Nana is looking down celebrating with you," Denise recently shared on Instagram. "I love you, my sweet Sami."
Sami soon commented, "Thank you so much mom i love you too."
It's unclear whether the two have reconciled anywhere other than social media, but they're at least on speaking terms again.

Denise Richards Daughter Opens Up About 'Abusive Household'
So just to recap last year’s drama, Brandi Glanville insisted that she and Denise Richards had an intimate relationship, while Denise denied the entire thing.
“I’m not lying,” she told the Us Weekly. “People can say whatever they want to say. Listen, it doesn’t matter because I know my truth and the truth is setting me free right now because I don’t have to keep this f*cking secret anymore. Because I hate [secrets], I just am not good at secrets…I don’t like when I think somebody has something on me. It’s just the worst feeling. That’s why I live my life so out loud.”
In an episode of RHOBH, fans watched as Brandi told her costars Teddi Mellencamp and Kyle Richards about the interaction with Denise. She said the two slept together when Brandi visited Denise in Northern California for a podcast interview.
“I went and I was going to get my own room, but Denise said, ‘No, just stay here. It’s fine. I’ll get you a rollaway bed,’” Brandi said in the episode. “There was no rollaway bed. … [Denise’s daughter and her friend] were downstairs and we were in the loft and there was no door. And I just couldn’t get into it. The next day, Denise said to me, ‘No matter what you do, you just can’t tell Aaron. He will kill me.’ And I’m like, ‘What the f*ck is happening right now?’”
Denise continued to deny the claims, and eventually decided to move on with her life and rid herself of the Beverly Hills drama.
But Garcelle Beauvais teased on Watch What Happens Live that Denise’s story may not be over!
“I think she wants to come back,” Garcelle told Andy Cohen.
“Oh, really? Let’s talk after the show!” Andy replied.
“Somebody’s gotta go though!” Garcelle joked. “Just sayin’!”
Andy said that ultimatums rarely work in the Housewives world, but then asked if the person to leave would have the initials “LR.”
This, of course, means Lisa Rinna, who Denise had a falling out with last year after the Brandi drama.
Garcelle did not confirm or deny if that’s who Denise would like to see leave the show.
According to Page Six, Denise previously opened up about her time on the show on The Real.
“I’ve been a fan of the show and had a lot of fun doing my first season,” Denise said on the show. “Obviously, my second season was very challenging. You know, I went back and forth with it, and at the end of the day, I decided it was time for me to move on and focus on other projects that I have. I’m glad that I did it though.”
But she was thankful for Garcelle’s friendship while their time on RHOBH overlapped.
“Garcelle, it almost makes me want to cry,” Denise continued. “I truly could not have gotten through the season without you, honestly. She is a girl’s girl, a good friend. Your loyalty is beyond and I really could not have gotten through this season without you.”
But now, Denise is having more drama and troubles... from within her own home.
Of course, Sami would be moving back and forth between households at this time, so it's unclear where she was living... but it doesn't look good for Denise.
We're glad to see that Sami is in a better place!
